Exposure - Game UI/UX
Exposure is a survival horror game IP that is my own personal work. The game requires the main character, Charlie, to survive the night in her family’s swamp while using her cellphone to document evidence. The phone also acts as the menu in game. The phone and HUD were originally meant to reflect Charlie’s positive mindset with very feminine, vibrant, and positive assets that would eventually devolve as the game progresses. However, I found that those assets were too jarring against a survival horror IP mood and ultimately adjusted the UI to follow the style of games like Resident Evil, Outlast, and Alan Wake.
